Day 1. Departure day
Board your flight to Italy, and let the adventure begin.
Day 2. Venice
Upon arrival in Venice, be transferred to your accommodation. Begin your exploration of the City of Bridges on your private walking tour. With an expert guide, visit the sites of Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), followed by a tour of St Mark’s Basilica. Hear more about the history, and embrace this charming city. Spend the remainder of your day relaxing, or utilize some of the many recommendations you will get from your guide. Stay overnight.
Day 3. Venice – Florence
Check out of your accommodation and be transferred to the train station. Board your train and enjoy the ride towards Florence. Upon arrival, continue with a transfer to your hotel. After you settle in, you will discover majestic medieval Florence on a private walking tour. Your expert guide will give you a great overview of the city while covering the top sights. The city offers a bevy of culture, famous artwork, and beautiful architecture. In addition, you will find some of the best museums in the world, and fall in love with this mesmerizing city where the Renaissance was born. Stay overnight.
Day 4. Florence
Kick off the day by exploring hill towns, cities, and the countryside in a small group setting. Travel past the olive groves and grapevines of the Chianti region to Monteriggioni, and discover the highlights of Tuscany on this day trip. Admire the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Siena Duomo, and stroll through the UNESCO-listed Old Town of San Gimignano. In addition, slow things down with lunch and a Chianti wine tasting. Return to Florence and stay overnight.
Day 5. Florence – Rome
Rise and shine, and be transferred to the train station where you will board your train to Rome. Upon arrival in the Eternal City, your transfer to your accommodation will be waiting for you. Stay overnight.
Day 6. Rome
Join a small group for a walking tour of the city, where you will learn more about Roman history and the gladiator combats. You will visit the Colosseum and have skip-the-line tickets to enter the spectacular Roman amphitheater. Ruins and Roman history will be brought back to life as you explore the Palatine hill and Roman Forum where the amazing temples are still standing. The rest of the day will be free for your own activities. Stay overnight.
Day 7. Rome – Amalfi Coast
Your adventure will continue towards the Amalfi Coast. Take your transfer to the train station and board your train to Naples. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Amalfi Coast accommodation. The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure. Stay overnight.
Day 8. Amalfi Coast
Get ready for a full day of exploring the Amalfi Coast! During your private driving tour you will see a series of picturesque villages such as Praiano, Amalfi, Furore, and Conca dei Marini. A stop above Positano will provide you with the opportunity to take in a beautiful aerial view of this amazing village. After an immersive experience, you will be dropped off at your accommodation. Stay overnight.
Day 9. Amalfi Coast
Get lost in the beauty of the island of Capri on a small-group day trip. Board a boat and enjoy the cruise to the island. During your ride, you will observe the intriguing Faraglioni rock formations, the Li Galli Nature Reserve, and the famed Blue Grotto, the former private bath of Roman Emperor Tiberius. Disembark at Capri and have some free time to explore the island. We recommend a visit to the historic Villa San Michele or the terraced Gardens of Augustus, where you can take the chairlift up to Mount Solaro for panoramic views or stroll around the town of Anacapri. After you explore, you will be ready to head back to Positano. Stay overnight.
Day 10. Amalfi Coast
Free day for your own activities. Stay overnight.
Day 11. Amalfi Coast – NY
Private transfer to Naples Airport.
